Youth Retreat was pretty good, get to retreat from the busy-ness of life and just bond with the rest of the youth group and also a place to hear God. To me, retreats and camps have been one of the most effective ways to bring me back to focus on God. So often i forget who i should seek for help first, and the 3 speakers who gave the sermons were really good cause it brought me back to what matters most.

Got my results back during the camp. NP sent an sms telling us what we got for our subjects, but sadly they did not include the GPA, so i was pretty anxious about what i'll get for my GPA, considering i did alittle worse than my previous semester.. Well, my grades were roughly the same other than the Business Statistics module which pulled my GPA down by like 4 pts.. like a serious blow to my hopes to get into a Singapore University. Sad? Yeah, of course i am, i thought i'll do much better than what i'd received, but at the same time i was reminded during the retreat that everything is in God's hands and that at least i passed all my subjects.

To know that God does everything for our own good and even though we cant see why bad things happen to us now, one day we'll look back and realise that its for our own good.
